Oral surgery

It goes without saying that, along with our focus areas of implantology, dental prosthetics, and endodontics, our dentists also offer oral surgery such as the extraction of wisdom teeth or removal of cysts.

We give you a choice when undergoing extensive surgery. You may opt for sedation or general anaesthesia (ITN). Our anaesthetists will be more than happy to tell you more about either option.

Extracting wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth tend to be at the very back of the row of your teeth. Wisdom teeth may make their breakthrough when you are between 16 and 40 years old. Our nutrition these days has a negative impact on the position and arrangement of wisdom teeth, resulting in further damage. Extracting wisdom teeth is a completely trouble-free standard procedure in dentistry. Here is an example of the extraction of four wisdom teeth (circled in red) and a cyst on the first one of the upper anterior teeth on the left side of the jaw (circled in yellow).
